Lavender Ice Tea & Why You Should Drink It

Although Lavender is native to North and East Africa, the Mediterranean, Southern Europe, India, and Arabia, today is grown quite easily world wide and is easily purchased at your local health food store. 

This beautiful lavender tea tastes amazing and is so good for many common ailments that could save you thousands on prescription medications and over-the-counter medications for common ailments. 

Lavender is a wonderful medicinal flower that is good for:

Insomnia
Nervousness
Stress
Upset Stomach
Colic
Depression
Migraines
 
Colds
Cough
Asthma
Bronchitis
Fever


The ingredients are simple. The base is made from simple black tea.  For making a large pitcher of tea, you can us 2 family size large tea bags or abut 6 regular size tea bags and 1 teaspoon of loose lavender. The lavender should be placed inside an infuser.

Simply bring water to a boil, add tea bags and lavender. Let steep for 5-10 minutes. Remove tea bags and lavender and pour through a small strainer. Pour over ice. Add a bit of honey or natural sweetener to taste and ENJOY!
